Every remarkable journey begins with a simple conviction. For us, it was the belief that every child deserves more than an education — they deserve a place where they are genuinely loved, respected, understood, and inspired every single day. That belief gave birth to Aminah Prime Academy.
What began as a modest early years centre with only a few children has steadily grown into a trusted Nursery and Primary School serving families who value quality education, strong character, and personal attention.
Our growth has never been driven by numbers alone. It has been built on trust. Trust from parents who believed in our vision. Trust from families who watched their children flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. Trust from a community that recognised our commitment to excellence.
From the very beginning, we made a deliberate decision to focus on quality rather than quantity. We wanted every child to be known by name, not by a registration number. The Evolution of Our Journey
Key milestones shaping our development from foundational early years to excellence.
Creche & Daycare Foundation
Aminah Prime Academy started operations as a premium childcare creche. Our focus on top-tier infant safety, strict sterilized environments, and sensory playtime immediately won parental trust in Lokoja.
Montessori Nursery Expansion
Responding to high demand, we introduced a Montessori-focused Nursery section. We incorporated reading phonics, fine motor development activities, and basic Arabic lessons to enrich children's social circles.
Primary School Classrooms
Launched our full-scale Primary School curriculum. We built advanced facilities including computing laboratories, introducing children to typing and Scratch block-based software coding.
Secondary Extension Goals
We look forward to expanding into junior secondary classrooms, extending our blend of academic excellence, coding, and character values to high school candidates.

Mrs. Aminah Abdulsalam
Founder & Proprietor, Aminah Prime Academy
Mrs. Aminah Abdulsalam is the visionary founder of Aminah Prime Academy. She believes every child deserves a school where they feel safe, valued, and inspired to become their very best. That belief is what led her to establish this school — not just as a place of learning, but as a nurturing environment where children are known, supported, and encouraged to grow with confidence and character.
Her aspiration is simple: to raise learners who are not only academically strong, but also curious, kind, and prepared to thrive in a changing world. At Aminah Prime Academy, we are intentional about building that foundation every single day.

Mrs. Sarah Alao
B.Ed. Primary Education, TRCN Certified
Mrs. Sarah Alao is the direct academic supervisor at Aminah Prime Academy. A certified member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), Mrs. Alao specializes in visual, tactile, and active primary learning methodologies.
She supervises the teacher training sessions and regularly monitors the individual progress files of daycare, nursery, and primary classes. Her leadership guarantees standard compliance in class routines.
